Being a native of Nevada County, Lauren chose to open her business in a community that holds a special place in her heart. Her goal as a trainer is to help dog owners understand that adverse training methods are unnecessary. She believes in the power of positive reinforcement and aims to educate owners on this approach. The Man in the Hat, also known as Adam Rellstab, became a part of the #palpack in 2018. With a deep love for dogs that has been present throughout his life, he proudly embraces the role of being the "alpha" among the pack. Adam's passion for dogs and their well-being led him to the dog training profession, as he couldn't resist the opportunity to be a part of something so pawsome.

Adam's dedication to his job and his love for dogs is evident in his commitment to the #palpack. As a member of the team at PAWS'itive Pals, he works tirelessly to ensure that dogs and their owners receive the best possible training experience. Mae Cockerham joined the team at PPDT in May 2019 as a volunteer during school breaks. Having always been an animal lover and found enjoyment in landscaping she found that PPDT would be the perfect fit to do both. Outside of work Mae enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and dipping into the peaceful waters of the Yuba River.

Scott Kastning, known as the all-around handy-man of PAWS'itive Pals Dog Training (PPDT), has been an integral part of the team since 2015. Alongside his loyal Redbone Coon Hound companion named Taz, Scott has been actively involved in the growth and success of the business.

Scott takes on the responsibility of conducting temperament tests for new pack members during the peaceful integration process. He fearlessly approaches this task, undeterred by the possibility of getting bitten, and remains enthusiastic in providing praise and affection to the newcomers as they develop their skills and adjust to the pack environment.

His collaboration with Lauren, the owner of PAWS'itive Pals, has been instrumental in shaping the vision of the PPDT facility. Scott's talents in metalwork are prominently displayed as soon as you enter the gardens, adding a touch of creativity and beauty to the surroundings.
